2nd Annual Rachel Foundation Black Ice Jig
The Rachel Foundation hosted the 2nd Annual Black Ice Jig Fishing contest on Sugar Lake in Annandale, MN! We couldn’t ask for a better day out on the ice with families, friends, and fisherpersons alike all enjoying the day’s festivities including fishing contest, raffle, food, bonfires, kid’s games and more. Over 1,000 people attended, along with numerous of generous sponsors, helping raise $75,000!
The Rachel Foundation is “Committed to Community” – supporting our local communities and encouraging everyone on the Rachel Team to get involved and give back. We are passionate about supporting the communities where our employees live and work. At the heart of our community support is the mission of creating places and opportunities for people to thrive.

2022 CHASE Award
Rachel Contracting was recognized this past week for our commitment to safety as a CHASE Level 3 participant in AGC’s Construction Health and Safety Excellence partnership with Minnesota OSHA! Our dedication to jobsite safety and participation in AGC’s CHASE Program has proven once again that we are “committed to safety.”

2021 Minnesota Safety Council, Inc. Governor’s Safety Award
Rachel Contracting is proud to announce we have been awarded the Minnesota Safety Council Governor’s Safety Award of Honor in Occupational Safety! For the third straight year, we were recognized for our team’s excellence in workplace safety and health. We are deeply humbled and grateful of this team effort!
Since 1934, the annual Governor’s Safety Awards program has honored Minnesota employers with exceptional safety performance. Applicants are judged on several years of injury data as it compares with their industry’s national statistics, and on their progress in implementing a comprehensive safety program.

2022 NDA Michael J. Casbon Safety Award
At the annual National Demolition Association Convention, the Rachel Team was awarded the Michael J. Casbon Safety Award – the award honors the legacy of the late Mike Casbon, an expert with 25 years of experience in the fields of demolition, decontamination, and construction. The intention of this award is to honor companies that have demonstrated excellence in safety.
We thank the The National Demolition Association for recognizing Rachel Contracting as a safety leader in demolition! And a congratulation is in order for all demolition award winners!
