Team Rachel was contracted through a publicly awarded project for the City of Maple Grove, with RJM Construction as the GC to turn the existing soccer and baseball fields into 4 new synthetic turf baseball/softball fields. Our contract included moving 50,000 CY of onsite material into 3 large berms, installing 3,800 LF of collector pipe, 16,500 LF of lay flat drain tile, 23 nyoplast storm structures, 31,000 SY of fabric, 15,000 Tons of base stone, & 3,000 Tons of finishing stone. Coordination has been a huge component to this project with all the different trades on site once mass grading was complete. The project has posed its fair share of challenges from gradation testing on the base & finish stone, & excess spoils generated on site from other trades with no more room in berms causing the need for an additional fourth berm.
