Rachel Contracting was awarded multiple scopes of work for this project which included: demolition, site earthwork, site utilities, site concrete, retaining walls, and asphalt paving. We were able to offer a complete site civil package which set our proposal apart from the competition. Rachel self-performed the demolition, earthwork, and utilities scopes of work and we managed subcontractors who performed the site concrete, asphalt paving, and retaining wall scopes. We were also hired by the local power company to excavate and backfill the 600 LF power service. Our crew overcame numerous challenges and issues through great communication and teamwork and was thrilled to be part of bringing the first Chick-Fil-A to the Twin Ports.
