Rachel Contracting partnered with Rachel Development to perform site improvements for a new housing development on a picturesque site in Cottage Grove. The site itself presented many challenges including work around an active wetland and stream, varying ground water levels due to our extremely wet construction season, varying heights of below grade bed rock which affected all aspects of construction, with Contracting completing roads and utilities through 1A and will return in Spring 2025 to finish out remaining utility and street work for remaining phase 1. Sidewalks in phase 1 and some likely grading for development’s second addition will also continue in Spring of 2025.
