Rachel was selected to partner with Barr Engineering to provide environmental cleanup to a Brownfield site owned by 3M in the City of Oakdale, MN. The purpose of this project was to remove soil with elevated levels of contamination. The existing eight acre site required complete tree removals. Once removed, Rachel crews stripped the existing clean buffer soil for later use. Rachel’s mass earthwork operation including managing a fleet of 20 trucks hauling excavated soil to the landfill. Once completed, mass grading occurred to prepare the site for the future building project. 3M graciously donated the land to the City of Oakdale for a future public works building.
