Rachel was selected to perform this project in two phases. The first, was a contract with AET to perform a soil cleanup. The soil in the upper two feet across this property was contamianted with Asbestos. As part of the cleanup efforts Rachel removed 10,500 tons of asbestos containing soil to the landfill and backhauled sand to replace it. The second phase which was the builidng portion of the project was contracted with Enclave and begun imediatly after the soil cleanup work. This site included mass soil corrections across the future 66,000 SF building pad – some deep enough to be into groundwater. This site became very congested once the building construction begun making moving around the site and imported the remining soil to raise grades a challenge.
