Butler Business Park

Completion Date : July 2016

After completing previous projects for Hyde Development, Rachel was hired to perform the earthwork and soil corrections for two new warehouse facilities in Fargo, ND. The earthwork consisted of removing 3-6 feet of organic fill from below the future building pads and replacing it with native clay. Handling all the organic soil on the site was a challenge, as there ended up being more unusable fill than anticipated. To handle the excess organic material Rachel crews over excavated native clay in non building areas and replaced it with organic fill. A unique aspect of the Butler Business Park was the requirement to place 4 feet of sand below all the perimeter footings. This was done to ensure there was proper support for the load of the new building. Rachel also excavated a large storm water pond that is roughly 15 feet deep.
